Aam Panna or as we say it in Gujarati Keri no Panno is a refreshing green mango and mint cooler. My mom always used to have the aam panna concentrate stored in the refrigerator. She used to makes this panna as soon as we got back home after playing. It is always food that makes me feel closer to home and my mom. There were so many things that mom used to make us. There were no fancy meal preps, just a lot of hacks and tricks she used in her kitchen.
The heat in Bay Area is gearing up, and my husband and I need some refreshments almost every day. And what is better than a cool mango refresher in summers to beat the heat. I was lucky to find beautiful green mangoes at a nearby local grocery store. I knew what I was going to make with those delicious green mangoes right away.
kachi-keri-no-chundo and this aam panna were the two first things that crossed my mind. I had to make them and I successfully did. Ever since I have been taking care of Inaaya on my own, it is hard to know how much time will I get in the kitchen. I guess it was my lucky day in the kitchen today.
Although I did not get time to take step by step pictures on how I make this gorgeous aam panna, I promise I will be making this again soon and I will definitely share it with you guys.
