Equipment

  • 1 High Powered Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana Ripe
  • 2-3 Medjool Dates
  • 1 Cup Espresso Shot
  • 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder
  • ½ Cup Milk Use any milk of your choice
  • 1 Pinch Salt optional

Instructions

  • Pit the dates if they are unpitted. Soak them for 30 minutes in warm water to soften them. I use vitamix, so I skip the soaking step.
  • In a blender add the banana, dates, espresso shot, cocoa powder, pinch of salt, and milk of your choice along with 2-3 ice cubes
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the latte into a tall glass and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add cinnamon powder or vanilla to add a layer of flavor to the latte.
  • Add protein powder, nut butter, and different seeds like chia and hemp to add extra protein and nutrition.
