Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot metal insert.
Place the egg trivet inside the Instant Pot. Add steamer rack on top of the trivet. Carefully arrange the eggs on the trivet in a single layer.
Secure the lid and make sure the valve is set to the Sealing position.
Select Pressure Cook (Manual) and cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes. The commonly used "5-5-5" method starts with 5 minutes of high-pressure cooking.
Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, carefully perform a quick release to release any remaining pressure.
Transfer the eggs immediately to a bowl filled with ice water.
Let them sit for 5 minutes. The ice bath stops the cooking process and helps the shells peel more easily.
Gently tap the eggs on the counter and roll them lightly to crack the shell. Start peeling from the wider end where the air pocket is located.
The shell should come off effortlessly.
