The sun is soaring during the day and wind roars in the evening. I am certainly confused about what weather am I living in. Although I never get to enjoy those summer days, since the husband feels hot almost all the time, and I don’t know about your home but the temperatures at our home are certainly not easy to get along without a jacket. Perhaps, I get to feel and enjoy those summer days during the day. I usually take Luna for a walk every morning around 10 am when there is a soft windchill yet the sun keeps me warm. After a beautiful 1 hour long walk both of us are almost dehydrated. All we can think about is chugging a whole bottle of water as soon as we are home. At times, like these, I feel like enjoying a super quick chilled refreshing fresh fruit juice. Most likely, I will make myself a mint lemonade if I am very busy, but some days are different, and today is that such day.
Cantaloupe was cubed and sitting in my refrigerator and so did the strawberries. Since mom is here, I kept on demanding all the indulgent lunch and dinner, hence I am totally out of my healthy eating routine. While going through my Instagram page today, a food blogger Binjal of @binjalsvegkitchen, whose work inspires me a lot made beautiful cantaloupe and strawberry popsicles. Something of this combination was on my mind but I was a little hesitant. Seeing her popsicles turn out so well, I decided to give this beautiful refreshing flavors a try and oh boy, they turned out to be so amazingly refreshing and instantly became one of our favorites. Also, for me, that deep peachy pink color works to make anything my favorite.

Benefits of Strawberries
Who cares what the benefits of strawberries are. These plush red summer berries are my absolute favorite in all its forms. But there are some phenomenal benefits associated with this fruit which is loved by all. This fruit is one of the top 10 vegetables and fruits which contains highest levels of anti-oxidants. Eat strawberries for beautiful, soft skin. As all fruits and vegetables protect us from cancer, diabetes and blood pressure strawberries do too. So rather than eating something we don’t like, I would rather settle with strawberries. But, it also serves some amazing benefits. It protects us from heart diseases and strokes. Also, it is very beneficial to eat strawberries while pregnant, because it is a natural source of folic acid and also helps with the baby’s beautiful skin.
This is a very simple pantry ingredients recipe. It takes about 6-7 ingredients and the refreshing juice is ready. I used Cantaloupe and Strawberries as the main fruit for the refreshing flavors along with some freshly squeezed orange juice to give a sweet citrus twist to the juice. For more flavor, I added some fresh mint, ginger, cumin powder, and black salt, I served this chilled to my family and this juice is certainly added to our favorite weekly refreshments.
